In 2000, after a wealthy antique dealer is brutally murdered in a home invasion, his son, a disgraced archaeologist, discovers that the killers have escaped justice through corruption. Desperate for revenge, he steals a forbidden curse ritual from a lost pre-Yue civilization he once studied. As he executes the ritual, the vengeful spirits he unleashes become horrifyingly real, forcing him to confront the ultimate price of illegal justice in a society where the law has utterly failed.
