The Stolen Silhouette

Leo Carrow, a deaf man destroyed by a corrupt school board that denied him a qualified interpreter, kills the wealthy benefactor Aldric Vane and steals his identity. With a cochlear implant and rigorous voice training, Leo masters every inflection of Aldric’s speech, erasing the man he was. But as he inhabits the mansion, the wife, and the boardroom, the precision of his disguise begins to consume him.
