Cracked Canvases

In the United Republics, Carlos Koncepcio, a convicted cocaine trafficker and underground painter, is freed under the New Horizon Act. Former federal prosecutor Eliana Vela, who put him away, watches in horror as a series of ritualistic murders begins—each victim arranged as a grotesque artwork bearing Koncepcio’s signature symbols. Vela’s obsessive hunt for the truth drags her into a labyrinth of esoteric aesthetics, where the line between justice and madness blurs. The artist’s ultimate masterpiece demands the annihilation of the law itself, and the investigator must confront how her relentless pursuit of truth has already sacrificed her own humanity.
