The Tail of Greed

In the rainy metropolis of Seorae, detective Kang Joon-suh investigates the charred bodies of a couple in the mountains, uncovering a labyrinth of corporate fraud and yakuza money. The prime witness, tech entrepreneur Park Min-jun, has vanished. Unbeknownst to the world, Min-jun has been forcibly committed to Sorok Psychiatric Hospital, a place where inconvenient truths are erased by electroshock. Inspired by the bleak, slow-burning tension of Arnaldur Indriðason, this story cuts between Min-jun's desperate struggle to prove his sanity to the sole empathetic doctor and the detective's relentless pursuit of evidence, revealing how greed—humanity's most primitive and persistent tail—devours all decency in its path.
