In the fictional nation of Hoshido, the massive Towa Construction asbestos lawsuit becomes the stage for a chilling act of vengeance. Chigusa Hayashi, a seemingly meek chemical archivist, harbors a consuming envy for Yukino Matsushita, the radiant wife of the company's president. Under the crushing weight of a patriarchal society, Chigusa weaponizes her gentle facade and expert knowledge of toxins to orchestrate a flawless, slow-burning murder.
