Ashes of the Iron Shore

In the rusted, decaying city of Iron Shore, retired detective Dan Wicks drowns his past failures in whiskey. When enigmatic billionaire Victor Crest returns to buy the entire waterfront, he hires Wicks to investigate an old land dispute. Wicks uncovers a fragile society built on a 20-year-old massacre where local cops murdered federal agents to hide a massive pension fraud. As the investigation deepens, Wicks realizes the town’s comfortable "normal life" is a house of cards, and Victor Crest hasn't returned to build condos—he has returned to bury the guilty. Trapped between a corrupt institution that wants him dead and a tycoon bent on revenge, Wicks must navigate a labyrinth of lies where the price of truth is the total destruction of a community.
