In a dusty Shaanxi village, private investigator Mo Yan is hired by an elderly man named Qiu Wei to probe a land grab that eerily mirrors the ancient Wu Si Wei Ding case. As Mo trails the shrewd landlord Li Bangjun, he senses another presence—a spectral shadow tracking his every move.
