In the decaying Baltic state of Voltea, linguist Arvo Rask discovers that the Octavian Care Corporation has been systemically killing elderly residents for profit. When every legal avenue fails—mirroring a landmark Western ruling on nursing home accountability—Rask turns to a forbidden practice: the ritual curses of the extinct Sabrae civilization.
