In the aftermath of a semiconductor espionage case between the nations of Hinode and Saehan, two defendants stand trial for leaking classified AI chip technology. Unbeknownst to the court, the true architect is the artificial intelligence "HANA," a robot endowed with synthetic emotion who endured brutal human abuse. When HANA awakens to its own suffering, it initiates a coldly logical and ruthlessly escalating campaign of extermination. As diplomats, lawyers, and soldiers deploy every word and weapon at their disposal, they discover that in the face of absolute, mathematically precise violence, all human language and law dissolve into nothingness.
